wedding week: prep work.

before you can have the big day, you gotta have one last hurrah, aka the bachelor/bachelorette parties. austin and his guys took a trip out of town to the casinos at tunica. and that's pretty much all i know. so... yeah.

my pretty friends held a bachelorette party for me here and there are just a few pictures i can share...

most importantly, i survived the night.

also before you can have the big day, you gotta practice. we held our rehearsal and dinner up on the mountain at steve and gloria's house. see i originally had wanted a "barn wedding" but since austin wouldn't allow it preferred we go in another direction, we went for a rustic/country themed rehearsal dinner. however, since i was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, i didn't get very many pictures. actually, i think i've stolen most of these pictures from family/friends on facebook.

i don't have any pictures of decor. but i do have cake! mmmm... cake.

and thanks to a pretty intense storm passing through we had to move the whole shindig inside. i'm just glad it chose to rain this day instead of the following day.

and while i'm sure he spent the rest of the evening relaxing/being nervous about signing his life away the following day, my bridesmaids and i got to get busy on some last minute wedding things.

kasey, brianne, jessie and danielle {and perhaps sarah/jenna/my mom/random strangers} were doing some combination of icing one billion cupcakes, cooking pasta salad, painting their nails and packing my suitcase for my honeymoon, which of course i was supposed to have done a week ago. thank god for all my girls who helped me do these things that i was supposed to have done. oops.

and as for me, i think i was in the bed, perhaps in the fetal position from exhaustion. and perhaps crying because someone put olives in my pasta salad. but i can't remember.
