a few finally finished things.

so, here it is again, friday, and have i accomplished anything this week? let's see.

finally, i finished the much necessary car clean-out 2010. i think i found about 15 water bottles, a few spoons, some diet coke cans and a ton of paper, mostly newspaper ads from austin and my couponing trips. oh and you wouldn't believe how many taco mac mint wrappers i found in there. i make austin grab about 20 each time we walk in or out of there.

finally, i finished {well, started, too} shopping for austin's christmas presents. ok, so only two of the boxes in the picture are real presents, the others are for decorative purposes only. i have another present of his hidden away, because it will be obvious what it is if i leave it out. and one more is on the way in the mail. i'm just hoping it shows up at a time when he isn't home...

finally, i finished our christmas card mailout. i had to buy stamps and i kept putting off going to the post office for some reason {laziness}. i finally got off my butt and mailed them out yesterday so i hope everyone gets them soon!

i guess that's about it for finally finished friday.

on another note, joee and copper have settled in and things are going just fine. copper still chases dinger a little bit, but no big altercations have occurred {and i hope it stays that way}.

a few nights ago, joee and austin both got home early enough from work so we could have a little family dinner night. joee makes some mexican rice austin seems obsessed with, so joee made that while austin and i whipped up some cheese quesadillas and some beans.

copper has decided my christmas throw pillow is the most comfy thing in the house, so even though he's much larger than the pillow, he'll spin round and round and round on it until it's just right and then plop down.

and then, of course, he slides off the pillow one way or another...

when i snapped this picture of copper, i guess juliet heard the flash and wanted to know why someone else was being photographed and angrily emerged from her pile of blankets. so i had to include her today.

 i believe this is an angry look toward copper...

and now, i must go get myself cleaned up because...

rar jay is in town! austin is super excited to see him, too. we're going to meet rj and lindsy for some pizza and a few games of pool, i believe. hopefully the new hill city pizza place won't be at capacity this weekend...
