remember back when i posted about some spoiled beans i got from publix? after i sent an email through the publix website i got a short response from someone with the publix company saying that she had forwarded my email to someone further and this person would be in touch with me soon.
this morning i opened some mail from morgan foods, inc. which appears to be the company which produced the beans under publix's name.
they apologized and guess what? they sent me five bucks!
here's the letter i received from consumer relations.
apology accepted! i didn't expect five dollars to come out of it. i figured they would say sorry and perhaps offer me a non-spoiled can of the beans i had originally purchased. it's good to see that publix {and their affiliated companies} really seem to care about their products and customer satisfaction.
I'm quite impressed (and shocked) that they would do this! That really says something about a company and that they care about their products (and customer satisfaction)!
